Persistence of vision

Persistence of vision is a type of illusion which fools the eye making your brain think it is seeing a moving image. For example a flip book if you draw the same picture on each page with an inch of difference and them flip the pages the speed will make your brain think its seeing a moving image.

Persistence of vision

Persistence of vision is like a camera for the eyes. If you look at a image for a long time you will still see it when you look away for a short period of time.
